Leaked Samsung Note 5 Photos Set to Attract Haters

The website Nowhereelse.fr has obtained leaked photos of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. The latest Samsung gadget is set to be marketed in a few months.

Followers of Samsung's mobile phones have been anticipating the release of the recently released S6. The leaked photos diverted the attention. Online tech commentators said the design of the Note 5 is poised to make Note users angry.

While the Note model is designed for maximum productivity, the leaked design shows a back portion made of glass. This means the battery is not removable. There will also be no expandable storage for the new device.

The design does not follow the trademark of the Note series and leans closer to the S6. Other models of the Note series carry larger batteries.

The Note 5's design leaning very close to the S6 could mean it carries a much smaller battery, which also lasts for a shorter time.

Retained in the design is the stylus, a trademark of the Samsung Note devices. The improvements, which the newest Samsung addition has, are reportedly the same with that of the S6.

Online commentators express frustration over the new design. "Frustratingly, it feels like Samsung is missing an open goal here," Forbes' Gordon Kelly wrote. Others commented that the new phone resembles a bigger S6.

Leaked photos of Samsung's other phones have similarly received negative feedback from netizens. The Galaxy S6 was said to have an "ugly camera" when photos of it leaked early this year. Reviews have been mostly positive after its release.

Samsung Galaxy S6 was released last April. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is reported to be released in September this year, having the exact date relatively vary in different online reports. The company promises larger memory with waterproof storage for its new device.

Website galaxynote5edge.com calls the phablet the mobile company's "Rising Star of 2015". Thus, they did not put up any image of the device.

Samsung has not released any response to the recent photo leak incident.
