Sony Launches Xperia C5 Ultra Thin

New Delhi, India-many gadgets have arrived in the country over the past few weeks. On Wednesday, Aug 26, Japanese tech company Sony has brought a new smartphone to the country. The company's arm in India has launched the razor-thin Xperia C5 Ultra Dual smartphone. The device has just recently been announced and has a single-SIM variant which has not been released in the country.

The Xperia C5 Ultra Dual is, as the name reveals, a dual SIM smartphone. The mobile model is targeted to selfie lovers, as it is equipped with 13-megapixel cameras in both its front and back sides. It also features LED flash modules for both the front and rear cameras. A 13-megapixel camera is commonly seen in smartphones these days as the devices' main lens, usually the back camera. Front cameras for devices usually have anywhere from 2-8 megapixels for the selfie camera, so 13 megapixels spells quite a difference from other devices.

NDTV also indicated that the Xperia C5 Ultra Dual is powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop. It has a 16GB storage capacity and 2GB RAM. The processor is a 1.7 GHz chip with ARM Mali 760 GPU. Other features of the handset include an auto scene recognition, a video stabiliser, image stabiliser, geotagging and full- HD video recording among many others.

The Xperia C5 Ultra Dual does not have dust and water protection, unlike other Sony handsets. The device is available in three color variants, namely, black, white and Glossy-Soft Mint. Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual is expected to hit retailers all over India in the coming weeks following its release. The handset is priced at Rs 29.990.

The Xperia C5 Ultra Dual has made its global debut in early Aug, along with another Sony handset. The Xperia M5 has not been launched in India as of yet. Over the weeks, many devices are reported to arrive in India. The Apple Watch is said to be coming in Nov while LG's latest OLED TV has just arrived in the Indian market on Aug 26.
