Sony is partnering with a fast-food chain for an advertising campaign that will give a free PlayStation 4 Bundle every 10 minutes starting Sept. 24 and ending Nov. 4. To have a chance of winning a limited edition gold PlayStation 4 bundle, you need to go to your nearest Taco Bell fast-food chain and plan on eating there.
The promotion campaign is available only in the United States, and it will give out a total of 6,000 limited edition gold PlayStation 4 bundles, which include a gold PlayStation 4, a gold DualShock 4 controller, a copy of the Nathan Drake Collection of the game Uncharted and a coupon for a PlayStation Plus membership for one year.
For a chance to win one of the limited edition PlayStation 4 bundles, customers are stimulated to stop over a participating Taco Bell chain between Sept. 24 and Nov. 4 and get a Big Box meal, which will come with an exclusive code published on the box. The consumer then can text the code to a number indicated in the box to see whether they have won a free bundle or not.
However, for consumers who do not plan to buy a Big Box meal from Taco Bell but still want to get a chance to win this limited edition gold PlayStation 4 bundle, they actually have two alternatives -- either to make a handwritten mail-in code request postmarked on Oct. 21 and established on Oct. 28 or simply initiate a certain online code appeal.
For consumers who chose to use mail-in code demands, they will obtain one code via email per day established on the postmark date or in every postcard for up to 28 total codes during the said advertising period. The online code entreaty will give you only one code during the campaign period.
Earlier this week, Sony declared a price descent for the 500GB version of the PlayStation 4 in Japan to achieve price parity with the Xbox One.
