Leaked Images Confirm Nexus 6P Details

Huawei's first Nexus device has been on the spotlight in the Android spectrum. With leaks coming out from Mountain View and speculations from several tech websites going left and right, he Nexus 6P has easily cemented its stature as one of the most anticipated devices to come out this year. This time, a new leaked presentation has surfaced, confirming most of the phone's specifications that have been leaked out before.

A set of press images for the Nexus 6P has made its round on the internet, making its way first in social image sharing platform Imgur. The images is a set of presentation slides that appear to be for promotional use or for retail employees. The latest batch of leaks also contain hardware specifications and key features of the Huawei Nexus 6P.

First off, the Nexus 6P is the first all-metal Nexus flagship, and it will have a slim and light form factor as well a sophisticated look. Its 5.7" WQHD display will also be protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 4 for ultra-resistant protection.

The Nexus 6P will be shipping with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, and it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 chipset. Battery rating is shown as 3450mAh, and for faster charging and quicker data access, Huawei will be equipping it with a USB Type C port.

The latest leaks also confirm the presence of a Fingerprint Sensor at the back of the Nexus 6P, and new features that come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow such as Now on Tap, data sharing control with apps, and a new standby system will be in store.

The last side in the batch also confirms that the Nexus 6P will come in three storage variants: 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. The handset will also be available in Aluminum, Graphite, Frost, and Gold. However, the Gold option will only be available in Japan when the Nexus 6P hits release date.

Huawei's Nexus 6P is expected to be unveiled alongside the Nexus 5X by LG, the new Chromecast, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow during Google's event on the 29th of September. So it will only be a day of wait until things go official.
