Ivory Tower will now be joining Ubisoft. After decades of partnership with the successful online racing game The Crew, Ivory Tower is not just a partner anymore to Ubisoft, but family.
A decade ago, Eden Games came up with a notion for a new variety of racing game. After eight years, Eden Games founded Ivory Tower, a development studio located France. And last year, having persuaded Ubisoft the talent of their project from the start, the game came to life in The Crew, which is an MMO driving game. Improvement on the game was spearheaded by Ivory Tower, working hand in hand with Ubisoft. The Crew has since surpassed more than 3 million players globally, and this year also symbols the extension of the practice with the announcement of The Crew: Wild Run.
Another important reason that 2015 will be a memorable year for the studio, Ivory Tower is now legitimately part of Ubisoft. After years of fruitful partnership, Ubisoft is thrilled to be incorporating the studio's knowledge into its worldwide network of talents. The 100-team affiliates who work at the studio have established a renowned know-how in driving, building MMOs and creating games with strong online games services, all of which will be colossal benefits for Ubisoft as a whole.
Managing Director Ahmed Boukhelifa of Ivory Tower is thrilled about the latest move. The studio have always appreciated a positive connection with Ubisoft. Having worked together on The Crew and rejoicing its achievements made both firms recognize that they have enormous capabilities in continuing to work together. Joining Ubisoft, Ivory Tower's team will continue to profit from Ubisoft's technology, vision, infrastructure, support and tools. In return, the studio will add their own know-how to the wider Ubisoft tale.
Ivory Tower continues to concentrate on backing up The Crew, and the studio is excited to bring even more fun and wild rides to the public with the announcement of The Crew: Wild Run on Nov. 17.
