Hiku Grocery Scanner Is Better Than Amazon Dash

Amazon introduced a product named Dash a couple of months ago that enabled its users to add shopping items to virtual shopping carts. Hiku on the other hand features the same Dash-like characteristics but takes away all the prerequisites that Amazon recommends.

Previously, the online shopping store presented a new invention known as Dash that permitted its users to add goods to their virtual shopping carts just by simply scanning a barcode or by stating a grocery item on a microphone. The concept was to simplify a way to build shopping lists and order goods online. With this idea, consumers would be less than likely be sold out of common household grocery items.

The online store's intention was good, but people have to meet an array of prerequisites before they are able to get a Dash gadget and order items on Amazon. First of all, customers should be living in an area where a delivery service of Amazon Prime Fresh operates. Secondly, people need an invite to participate in a private beta trial of the device. To put it short, it is still somewhat of an exclusive event.

On the other hand, there is a similar product out in the market like the exclusive Amazon Dash. A gadget known as Hiku features all the same characteristics. Functionality in comparison, both demonstrate the same features but Hiku has a couple of extra tricks that makes it somewhat different. On a physical feature aspect, Dash looks like a big ring, while Hiku looks like a white and silver puck for hockey and the device has a magnet that can attach to people's refrigerator doors, making it more of a convenience and less than likely to get misplaced on cupboards or drawers.

The Amazon Dash puts orders into a virtual shopping cart exclusive only to the Amazon store. Hiku builds a grocery outline and synchronizes it on cloud storage systems. With this idea, people can access their lists the next time they drop by a store via the Hiku app accompaniment.

Hiku at this point cannot order items online but the company is in discussions with retailers to add automation that goes beyond shopping list creation. Also, the company is in talks with other e-commerce stores to bring options to customers for the device to shop for them.
