Rumors About Galaxy Note 6 Specs Surface Again

The latest rumors on the specs of the upcoming Samsung's Galaxy Note 6 claim that the mobile device will be powered by the Snapdragon 823 64-bit quad-core SoC. Samsung's flagship phablet will also feature a 5.77-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display and a USB Type-C connection.

According to Android Headlines, the new Samsung flagship smartphones for the year 2016 were introduced back in February. However, the South Korean high-tech giant still has to announce its flagship phablet for this year.

The release date of the new generation Galaxy Note 6 has not been revealed yet. Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Note 5 in August 2015 and it is also likely that its successor, the Galaxy Note 6, will arrive in August this year.

While waiting for Samsung's flagship phablet of the year, many rumors surface about its specs and features. According to some reports, the device might feature 128GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM.

The same publication reports that a new rumor surfaced in China, sharing some more detailed Galaxy Note 6 spec info. According to this, the Galaxy Note 6 will ship with IP68 certification for dust and water resistance and its case will be made out of metal.

Samsung's upcoming phablet will be powered by an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 820, the Snapdragon 823 64-bit quad-core SoC. Depending on the various market regions, it is also expected to be available on Exynos 8890-powered version.

According to the newly leaked info, the Galaxy Note 6 will feature 256GB of internal storage, 6GB of RAM and a 5.77-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display. It is still unclear if the phablet will sport expandable storage or not. The rumors also mention a 4,200mAh battery.

Previous rumors claimed that Samsung's upcoming device will feature a 4,000mAh battery and will ship with 128GB storage. As can be seen, in terms of storage and battery capacity, the new rumor differentiates from earlier ones.

Another recent rumor reported by the online publication Ubergizmo is claiming that the new USB Type-C standard introduced not too long ago will also be present in Samsung's upcoming device. The Galaxy Note 6 could feature a USB Type-C connection, which would make it the first Samsung gadget to support the new standard.
