"Kingdom Hearts 3" recent news and updates revealed the unstable dateline for the release of the much-acclaimed game. Also, Square Enix stuns the gaming arena with the delay, as well as the escalating notion that the culprit for the delay is "Final Fantasy 15."
Game & Guide has recently pointed out that Square Enix is implementing low profile means in regard to the release date and other details regarding "Kingdom Hearts 3." According to the report, "Most fans are still clueless as to what they should expect in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 game and are hoping that the upcoming Square Enix game could introduce several new features that could improve the gameplay in general."
Moreover, most gamers think that the Disney worlds in the previous "Kingdom Hearts" titles are too small for them to play in and are speculating that Square Enix will introduce bigger worlds in the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3" game, especially with PlayStation 4 getting more powerful than preceding consoles, reports the same post.
More report from Parent Herald conveyed that the delay and prolonged hiatus is partly due to "Final Fantasy 15" since it has been noted by Square Enix that it aims on releasing "Final Fantasy 15" on the market earlier than "Kingdom Hearts 3." This strategic approach is common for most game developers, and even Bandai Namco has integrated it as well for its crossover game segments.
To prove the latter, "Tekken 7" producer Katsuhiro Harada said, "When we develop fighting games, we try to keep the core community in mind as well as the wider audience that wants to play these games. We don't want to split these communities, so a good window in which to release Tekken x Street Fighter is something that's become difficult recently. So it's on hold for the moment."
Even though "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date is once again moved, it does not imply that gamers have lost interest for it. Also, it is undeniable that Square Enix stunned the gamers with the prolonged delay, but it is not an indication that other segments such as "Final Fantasy 15" get the total blame. However, it is just a strategic game that developers deemed best for all.
