Players who love first-person shooter games will be happy with the latest news. Electronic Arts (EA) has announced a special game offer where the company is giving away digital copies of "Battlefield 4" and Battlefield: Hardline" DLC packs to mark the upcoming revelation of the new "Battlefield" game.
The gaming company has announced on Tuesday, May 3, that it will give away previously released expansion packs for its "Battlefield 4" and "Battlefield: Hardline" game titles, VG247.com reports. The offer is open to gamers playing the two "Battlefield" titles on various platforms such as Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Origin for PC.
EA has also stated that it will release several free "Battlefield 4" and "Battlefield: Hardline" DLCs over the next few months. The company has also identified "Battlefield 4: Dragon's Teeth" as its first free DLC offering. The said expansion pack will be available for free download from May 3 to May 10.
Apart from the free expansion pack, EA has also included new community missions, as indicated on a report posted on Battlefield's official website. "Battleship 4" players can engage in the new community mission to unlock special rewards. Players would have to score 2.5 million Melee Kills to win a Gold Battlepack. The said community mission was released on May 3 and is slated to end on May 10 at 9 a.m. PT.
Meanwhile, EA's "Dragon's Teeth" DLC includes a chain link game mode, as stated on the same report. A new gadget called the R.A.W.R. has also been added in the said expansion pack. Aside from these, players will have access to four urban maps named Sunken Dragon, Propaganda, Pearl Market and Lumphini Garden.
The "Battlefield 4" and "Battlefield: Hardline" free DLC download is part of EA's promotional activity to celebrate the upcoming revelation of the new "Battlefield" game. The new game will be unveiled on Friday, May 6.
