None other than the CEO of Tesla Motors affirmed the specs and features surrounding Tesla Model 3. Elon Musks affirms the "ludicrous" stance for Tesla Model 3, while the fourth anticipated model brings much ambiguity.
It appears that Tesla released fairly little information about the Model 3 during a widely publicized unveiling at the end of March, but thankfully, CEO Elon Musk gets very chatty on Twitter and he recently used what appears to be his favorite method of communication to confirm that the Model 3 will get "Ludicrous" mode, reports Yahoo!
Tesla Model 3 is projected to bring about performance and agility. The forthcoming $35,000 electric car is anticipated to render horsepower and force that can still dust other sport sedans. The ludicrous mode is a $10,000 option that could be utilized for Model S and Model X but it stands out that Tesla's Model 3 would incorporate it as well.
With regard to integrating the ludicrous mode, it would integrate the "smart fuse" option that ensures safety for the current to flow from a car's battery pack into the motors within a faster pace. This process also advances the responsiveness of the motors and in turn lessens the acceleration times. In Ludicrous mode, Tesla says that the Model S P90D will do 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, compared to 3.1 seconds and the Model X P90D takes 3.2 seconds to reach 60 mph in Ludicrous mode, shaving 0.6 second, reports the same post.
Green Car Reports also mentioned that Tesla still has a long list of offerings for the coming years. With the anticipated release of the Model 3, the world is not shifting its gaze for a fourth model of Tesla.
On a different note, Elon Musk has also shed light to some possibility of him leaving the executive position until the Model 3 hits the car stalls. According to the same post, he would remain in the position at least until Model 3 production ramps up, but he does plan to step down at some point.
With the affirmation rendered by Elon Musk on the features and stance of the segment as well as "ludicrous" bearing for the Model 3, the fourth model of Tesla is also projected to bring about an era of change and more possibility.
