Avid fans of the "Kingdom Hearts" game franchise have been clamoring for more information on the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3" game. Multiple reports have stated that new details about the game will be revealed in the upcoming E3 2016. However, a latest report has clarified that "Kingdom Hearts 3" may not be featured in the said gaming convention.
Over the past few days, several news sites have reported that new information on the highly anticipated "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be unveiled in E3 2016. The said reports have cited a video interview conducted by The Koalition with "Kingdom Hearts Unchained X" Producer Hironori Okayama. The game producer reportedly confirmed that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be featured in E3. However, the said information is said to be incorrect, according to a report posted on The Bitbag.
The Koalition's Senior Editor Jakejames Lugo has added a note included in the video interview with Okayama that the game producer did not confirm the appearance of "Kingdom Hearts 3" in E3 2016, as indicated in the same report. Lugo's note stated that he had a "loose discussion" with Okayama.
The Koalition senior editor also clarified that Okayama did not "confirm anything" about "Kingdom Hearts 3" during the interview. "Some outlets have source us by saying Square Enix confirmed this to us. This was NOT the case," Lugo explained.
Given Lugo's clarification, it is still unclear if Square Enix will feature "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the upcoming E3 2016. However, the said gaming convention would be the perfect opportunity for Square Enix to provide a news update for the highly anticipated role playing game.
Meanwhile, there have been fan speculations that new characters will be added to "Kingdom Hearts 3," Attack of the Fanboy reports. Given Disney's acquisition of Marvel and Star Wars franchises, some characters may potentially make an appearance in the said game. However, Disney or Square Enix has yet to comment on these speculations.
With "Kingdom Hearts 3" unconfirmed appearance at E3 2016, avid fans of the game franchise can only wait for Square Enix to release more information on the said game.
