It is said in the post that those WhatsApp users need not to use their phones always in order to chat or share file with friends and even co-workers. The desktop application of WhatsApp was already launched last May 10, and it already allows users to send and receive messages on their PC and Mac, a source says.

Just recently, the stand-alone application added new feature for its interface. It is the file sharing.

The document sharing feature allows users to send files to their contacts just like the one in the mobile application. To do this, the user must download the stand-alone application first in Windows or Mac. Then, the users will be asked to scan a QR code on the desktop version to be captured using the mobile app. In this note, the user must have a pre-existing account so that the contacts and messages will be synced. Due to this, there will be enhancement in work because users can now share important files in a big meeting for example.

According to News Factor Business, WhatsApp's end to end encryption could appeal to business users. Additionally, it is reported that WhatsApp for desktop is simply an extension of someone's phone. The application runs natively on the desktop. The users will get support for desktop and better keyboard shortcuts.

It is also stated that whether WhasApp will be able to hook the business world, it remains to be seen. This will surely be of big help especially to those who have a lot of workloads.
