New Batman Game Bundle 'Return to Arkham' Announced for PS4 and Xbox One

Rocksteady Studios' most popular game franchise "Batman Arkham" series is getting a remaster treatment and fans who never got to experience it on previous generation consoles (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) will finally get to enjoy the game in glorious next-generation iteration on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This will be in the form of " Batman: Return to Arkham". Included in the bundle will be Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.

According to the official announcement by Warner Bros. UK, a collaboration between Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, DC Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios will pave the way for the Summer 2016 release of "Batman: Return To Arkham" for current generation consoles. No word on PC release as of yet. Both titles will be using the more recent Unreal 4 Engine, which will prove higher definition graphics and broader possibilities for both of the game's graphical presentation.

Aside from the graphics, the announcement also states that the bundle will include Game of The Year editions for both titles and all the DLCs that have been released respectively. This makes sure that returning fans will not only relive the awesome game with better lighting, animation, environments and shaders, but will also get the chance to get the complete and full experience. Same goes for those who haven't had the chance to play the games.

Virtuos will be the primary studio behind the remaster of both of the Batman games. The same studio also worked with other previous-gen remasters like Heavy Rain, Final Fantasy X / X-2, Fable Anniversary, etc.

There are several reported news over the internet of when exactly, the game, will be released, but based on the announcement, we can make sure that the bundle will be out by summer of 2016. This goes with a suggested retail price of $49.99 according to Batman News and Press A 2 Join. Now we will just wait for another announcement for Batman: Arkham Origins.
