'The Elder Scrolls 6' Release Date, Rumors, And Updates: Hiatus Ends In 2019; Bethesda Studios Busy With 'Fallout 4'

Despite the success of "The Elder Scrolls 6," the release date is rumored to extend further. It has been noted that the hiatus will end in 2019. Also, much to the dismay of the fans and followers of the series, Bethesda Studios is currently busy with the creation of "Fallout 4."

The delay has caused much apprehension for the fans and followers of the game franchise. "The Elder Scrolls 6" features stunning storyline and tantalizing gaming experience but the delay might affect the overall trend of the game.

Neurogadget also revealed that Bethesda has not revealed the probable name of the game sequel. Nonetheless, some hearsay have speculated that it might retain the "Skyrim" brand; hence, "Skyrim 2" is the ideal name.

It stands to reason that the last released sequel was "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" that was released into market in 2011. Given the long timeframe, it is only ideal that the gamers would demand a new one on the block.

On a different note, it has been reported in the past by Jobs & Hire that Bethesda was seeking a character artist to join the roster. Along that line, despite the affirmation, Bethesda remained tight-lipped on the project that the new hire would incorporate and work on.

Considering the hiatus, Bethesda wants to get things rolling, but efficiency and quality are among the traits that Bethesda wants to implement. Pete Hines, the vice-president and PR and marketing of Bethesda, has already stated, "The Elder Scrolls 6" will ultimately come but it might be prolonged a bit more.

Hines also added, "We do smaller stuff, we don't publish to scale, we try to publish to quality. Make sure everything we do is noteworthy. Our approach to that hasn't differed. Here and there we might change our approach to how it's presented but we've still stuck to who we are."
