'Final Fantasy XV' Will Not Be Unveiled At E3; Square Enix Releases Additional Ultimate Collector's Edition Copies

Just recently, Square Enix has announced the list of games it will unveil at E3 this year. Unfortunately, to the dismay of many fans, "Final Fantasy XV" is not included. But the studio still has something good to offer.

According to Tech News Today, the list of soon-to-be showcased games in E3 courtesy of Square Enix includes "Demos of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," "I Am Setsuna" and "Hitman: Episode 3." "Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithfulness" also made it to the lineup.

While the said games will still pique the interests of many, it would have been a grand presentation had "Final Fantasy XV" made it to the list. Also, from the same franchise, the highly anticipated remake of "Final Fantasy VII" shared the same fate as Square Enix is bound to keep the two installments under wraps.

"Final Fantasy XV" was originally made known way back in May 2006 but was only in the later years that it received an official release date -- Sep. 30, that is. The 15th installment, which was originally titled as "Final Fantasy Versus XIII," will arrive in Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this year.

With all the hype it accumulated over the years, many fans and gamers alike expected Square Enix to reveal "Final Fantasy XV" at E3. But with the recent reports, they say otherwise.

Inquisitr, on the other hand, reports that the video game company based in Tokyo will be adding 10,000 copies of the "Final Fantasy XV" Ultimate Collector's Edition. However, Square Enix has yet to reveal how the said copies will be made available to the consumers.

The total number of copies or units the company made available in the past was around 30,000. They were first disclosed during the "Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV" event in March of this year. This will surely come as a surprise to the fans who have failed to acquire the "Final Fantasy X" Ultimate Collector's Edition.
