Samsung has generally been very simple and clean when designing its gadgets whether it is the Note or the Galaxy S series. However, reports are now saying that Samsung might stray away from its own traditions by skipping straight to the Note 7 from the Note 5. The new Note is expected to launch within the year.
According to Venture Beat, the choice is likely because Samsung would prefer to coincide the model with the Galaxy S series, which is currently in its 7th generation. Executives fear that buyers will prefer other models simply because of the numeral, thinking that the Note series is less advanced.
No official word has been released by the tech giant regarding the specs, design or release date. However, it is highly possible that Samsung is waiting for Apple to reveal their iPhone 7 Pro in order to create competition, suggests The Christian Times . Needless to say, Samsung is not making any sacrifices with this new launch.
The new Note will reportedly sport Samsung's dual-curved-edge Super AMOLED display and is only available in this design. Some reports suggest that the upcoming flagship will be powered by a 4000mAh battery and will be running on a Snapdragon 823 processor from Qualcomm.
The tech giant announced that it will soon be using a 10-nanometer 6GB RAM during the Samsung Mobile Solutions Forum in China. The Note 7 will likely sport the upgraded RAM. The high memory space may help the gadget perform better in terms of multi-tasking. This will definitely solidify Samsung's status as the ideal "business" phone.
