Gigabyte Aero 14 is gaming laptop that offers great portability and powerful mobile hardware.

The product page of the Aero 14 gaming laptop was published on Gigabyte's website. The details were published ahead of the expected Computex reveal of the new gaming laptop. The German site WinFuture was the first to spot the details.

The website hexux.net reports that this is a 14-inch laptop that comes with a QHD 2560x1440 IPS Wide Viewing Angle Anti-Glare Display LCD. The laptop has a definite niche appeal for gamers.

The Aero 14 offers a great battery life, according to manufacturer's claims. The key performance components used by Gigabye in Aero 14 are a choice of Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M GDDR5 3GB or GTX 965M GDDR5 2GB and the Sixth Generation Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor working in the speed range 2.6GHz to 3.5GHz. When appropriate, the Gigabyte Aero 14 uses Nvidia Optimus tech to intelligently switch to the built-in Intel HD Graphics 530.

The laptop also comes equipped with 8GB or 16GB of DDR4 2133. A maximum RAM capacity of 32GB is ensured by two memory extension slots.

The Gigabyte Aero 14 comes with dual-storage, featuring 2 x M.2 SSD slots. The storage slots are Type 2280, ensuring transfers of up to 2GB/s and support for NVMe PCIe X4 and SATA.

Gamers will certainly appreciate the auto-adjusting backlit keyboard. Another interesting feature of its keyboard is the presence of individual macro keys.

Among other key features are the inclusion of 3x USB 3.0 ports and a USB 3.1(Type-C) port, mini-DP, HDMI 2.0 port, audio combo jack, Bluetooth 4.1, wireless communication via Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and SD card reader. The laptop comes with a built-in HD webcam and microphone, and it is equipped with a pair of 1.5W speakers providing Dolby Digital Plus Home Theatre sounds.

The Aero 14 is a laptop with reasonable thin and light body that weighs about 4.2 pounds and measures about 0.78 inch thick. According to Liliputing, the most interesting feature of this new gaming laptop model from Gigabyte is its massive 94.24 Wh battery that provides an impressive lifespan in just one charge.
