Review On Samsung Batman-Themed S7 Edge 'Injustice Edition'

Samsung has launched the "Dark Knight"-themed Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone that has been created in collaboration with DC Entertainment and Warner Bros.

According to Forbes, Samsung released last year the Galaxy S6 Edge "Iron Man Limited Edition" headset in conjunction with the release by Marvel of its movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron." This year, Samsung has partnered with DC Entertainment, Interactive Entertainment and Warner Bros. to create a Batman-themed version of the Galaxy S7 Edge named "Injustice Edition."

The new Galaxy S7 Edge aims to celebrate the third anniversary of the mobile video game "Injustice: Gods Among Us." The popular game features comics characters such as Batgirl, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Superman and Lex Luthor.

The Galaxy S7 edge "Injustice Edition" features on its back a Batman logo. The camera sensor and home button also have gold trims around them.

The package comes with a gold-colored Batarang, Batman wallpapers, Samsung Gear VR, Oculus VR content vouchers, "Injustice" game credit and a phone case that resembles Batman's armor.

The bundle varies based on different mobile operators and markets. On Google Play, the game "Injustice: God Among Us" is free to download, but within the game there are some in-app purchases such as additional weapons and extra energy.

According to PC Mag, the limited "Injustice Edition" handset will be launched by Samsung next month and will be available in select territories, including Korea, Singapore, China, Russia and Latin America, among others set to be announced soon. The device will come with bigger battery capacity and other enhanced hardware and software.

Executive vice president of Samsung's global marketing, IT and mobile division, Younghee Lee, said in a statement that the company seeks to provide the best mobile gaming experience for its users. He added that the partnership with Warner Bros. to offer the special edition of Galaxy S7 Edge for fans of "Injustice: Gods Among Us" reinforces Samsung's commitment to the game's fans.
