Recent rumors, airdates, news and updates have risen regarding the magnifying presence of "GTA Online." Rockstar, the creator and developer of the epic game, is more than willing to put an end to the legacy of the "Grand Theft Auto" game franchise.
It is irrefutable that the "GTA Online" game has made much improvement for many decades. It has been one of the games that have surpassed other games out there. It has sparked a pattern of authenticity and uniqueness. Along that line, the game's legacy remained resilient even today.
Other companies are keen to copy almost everything they can from "Grand Theft Auto," but the one secret of its success that they never seem to learn is that Rockstar, and owners Take-Two, are careful not to deluge gamers in endless yearly sequels, reports the Metro.
Given the details, it has already been 3 years since "GTA V" was first released and there is still not even a hint of a sequel. But Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick has stated that the ongoing "GTA Online" will not go on forever, as reported by the same post.
Gamespot also relayed of how Zelnick and other Take-Two management have also talked about the importance of "resting" a franchise in an effort to maximize its potential reach.
"We do expect GTA Online results to moderate because October will be three years since we released it. Not only was it not our intention that GTA Online was permanent, but it's important that it not be permanent. We have to rest the franchise at some point," adds Zelnick.
With the exception of its NBA and WWE franchises, Take-Two intentionally decides against releasing new installments to existing franchises every year.
If "GTA Online" would take a rest from all of the qualms of the gaming industry, gamers might just have to accept the reality as it comes.
