If fans did not get enough of "Harvest Moon" from Natsume, well, their desire will soon be fulfilled. A new game titled "Harvest Moon: Skytree Village" is already confirmed for release. And yes, the said company is looking to introduce it at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo this month.
According to Anime News Network, the new "Harvest Moon" game will arrive on Nintendo 3DS, only with no official release date yet. Nonetheless, it is expected to be made playable during Natsume's presentation at E3.
"Harvest Moon: Skytree Village" (the official title of the game) is said to feature new characters, storyline and design. Players can either choose a boy or girl character. And they can even opt to marry a bachelor or bachelorette.
As for the farms, "Harvest Moon: Skytree Village" will be highly customizable. Players can come up with lots of ponds simply by raising and/or lowering their lands. In fact, the new "Harvest Moon" game will feature fishing boats as well as a new herd donkey called the Poitou.
Moreover, "Harvest Moon: Skytree Village" will reportedly include a new fishing system. It will introduce new mechanics in catching rare fish and will consist of more expanded waterways.
Polygon notes that Natsume has yet to reveal the developer(s) for the upcoming "Harvest Moon" game. It is worth noting, though, that the company has already released a detailed information as to what fans can expect from the said game.
The new "Harvest Game" will find players (who will act as farmers) restoring the powers of the Harvest Goddess. Aside from that, they can expect the return of some notable characters, especially the ones from 2014's installment "The Lost Valley."
More information is expected to be laid out for the forthcoming "Harvest Moon" game later this year. Fortunately, fans can have a look-see at Natsume's soon-to-be released title at E3.
