Samsung Galaxy S3 Feature: Leaked S Voice Does Not Represent The Final Version

Galaxy S3 will not sport the leaked version of S Voice, the Siri-esque voice-controlled assistant, reports The Verge.

S Voice that was leaked a few days back was an "initial test version" and does not represent the final cut of the product, said the Korean electronics giant. The company, however, does not inform whether any devices other than Galaxy S3 can also have the same feature.

"An initial test version of S Voice which was found online has been blocked as Samsung Electronics does not want consumers to judge the quality of the voice feature based on a test version. When the product is launched, users of GALAXY S III will be able to fully experience S Voice."

Earlier the leaked software revealed that the Siri-style voice control application works on any device running on Android's latest 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Techies at the Verge tested the software on a Galaxy Nexus and a Sharp Aquos Phone and reported that S Voice performed reasonably well barring a few crashes. The app currently, however, is not working on any phone and displays "Network error" message to all requests, reports the website.
