Xbox One and PC owners have been enjoying "Fallout 4" mods since then. While there is yet to be an exact date, PS4 gamers are expected to acquire these awesome contents. Meanwhile, players have been complaining about the framerate issue they are experiencing due to the in-game fog. Fortunately, Bethesda has offered a solution -- unusual but quite effective.
Some time in May, the studio has made known to the public that the anticipated "Fallout 4" mods for PS4 are scheduled for delivery come June. This only means that owners of the aforesaid consoles should be acquiring these additions anytime this month.
However, according to Ecumenical News, it still remains unknown as to when Bethesda plans to release the said mods. After all, it has not announced any specific date as of yet.
But of course, that does not mean PS4 owners cannot enjoy other "Fallout 4" mods. One is from "foreverasi" and is called "Spring in the Commonwealth." As the name suggests, this mod enables players to experience a post-apocalyptic, dystopian setting. When this mod is installed, fans will find themselves in the midst of Commonwealth wasteland.
Meanwhile, "Fallout 4" players have reportedly been experiencing framerate issue in the game and is caused by the fog in "Far Harbor" DLC. It should be noted that the latter is by far the biggest expansion ever released by Bethesda.
Sure, this new "Fallout 4" DLC has lots of good things to offer; however, it did not go out without having any bug or whatnots. Nonetheless, according to Forbes, Bethesda has found an unusual yet effective solution in addressing the aforementioned issue.
The fix? Well, players simply have to delete the "Far Harbor" DLC from their hard drive. After which, they must go to the PSN store to redownload it. And voila! The updated version is now freed from the framerate issues cause by the "Fallout 4" fog.
Well, in one way or another, it is quite unusual -- talk about having to delete and redownload the DLC. But as long as it works, "Fallout 4" players will surely be happy.
