Mark Zuckerberg updated his social status to 'Married' last Saturday when he tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Priscilla Chan in a low-key gathering of 100 guests. They were also surprised as they were invited to Zuckerberg's Palo Alto home supposedly for a party to celebrate Chan's graduation from medical school.

Hence, the couple surely amazed the world with an IRL wedding, for which Zuckerberg went hoodie-free and Chan wore a lacey white gown. And now here is a brief detailing on all that you wish to know about the Facebook bride's wedding gown. The details are obtained from the reports which first appeared on KMGH-TV.

Priscilla Chan bought her wedding dress under a fake name at a shop in Denver last fall.

Cate Malone, owner of the Little White Dress Bridal Shop in Denver said in the reports that Priscilla Chan bought the gown in October 2011 and again returned in April to buy accessories.

The shop says Chan returned to Denver for alterations and to purchase a decorative hair comb to wear with her veil. Her gown was shipped to a third party California, without a single person ever realizing that they were helping the "First Lady of Facebook" prepare for her big day. Nothing was informed except for the wedding date (May 19) and the payment was handled by a different person, according to Malone.

"She was a very nice bride/customer," said Malone. "We had no idea she was marrying one of the wealthiest men in the world."

The dress was called "Sky Between the Branches" and was designed by Claire Pettibone. The gown is in a shape of a mermaid silhouette and features matte sequins and ivory cut-out lace and embroidery over silk charmeuse, with a sheer illusion back. It sells for $4,700 and was from Pettibone's 2010 "Cherry Blossom" collection.

A blog by Claire Pettibone confirms that the designer tracked the purchase of the dress to Little White Dress Bridal Shop in Denver. The shop is also mentioned in an article by Life & Style Magazine as the place where sources say Chan purchased her dress. Workers at Little White Dress Bridal Shop say Chan heard about the local bridal shop thorough Claire Pettibone's website.

"Our seamstress started the alterations, but because of the bride's schedule the dress had to be shipped to California where alterations were finished," Malone was quoted in the report.

Meanwhile according to AP reports, Facebook representatives have not yet returned to any of the emails seeking confirmation.

In the meantime, traffic to LA-based designer Claire Pettibone's website has spiked ten times the usual amount, and she has informed in the reports that the boutiques that carry her designs are understandably thrilled about all the fame, the dress and Pettibone are getting. WWD reported that 14 stores wanted to order the dress this Monday and more are expected to follow suit in weeks to come.
