Next 'Rocket League' Update To Introduce Trade-In System

Video games like "Rocket League" are better enjoyed when played among friends. Well, it seems the developers have seen how significant friendship can be, as they are set to introduce a new trade-in system. It will allow players to trade items and other whatnots among their friends. But it does not stop there, as brand new items -- be it rare and very rare -- will be introduced as well.

According to Engadget, the highly celebrated cross-platform game is getting some new additions from developer Psyonix. New sets of rare and very rare items are coming to "Rocket League" as part of the upcoming update. These items (from hats to paintjobs to etc.) are said to augment a player's particular skill, allowing players significant advantage against their opponents.

But apart from all of these, the best treat for "Rocket League" players is the new trading system. As soon as the next update arrives, they can immediately trade gears and stuff among their circle of friends. And take note, the loot becomes more valuable as it passes from one character to another.

Payers can acquire a number of uncommon and powerful items if they trade their accumulated unused gears. They can have a countless number of the same item for far more impressive implements if traded.

The trade-in system is also designed to allow "Rocket League" players to remove items that are of no use to them, as reported by GameSpot. However, it should be noted that some of these items can be very beneficial in the long run, so it is best to keep them for a while.

"Rocket League" has now reaped over $110 million units sold, surpassing the 5 million mark previously. These figures do not consist of the copies downloaded for free by people from PlayStation. Furthermore, the game now has a huge player pool of more than 16 million. It is shaping up to be as one of the most favored games this year.
