'Tom Clancy's The Division' Update: Upcoming 'Survival' DLC Gets Release Date, 'Underground' Expansion Offers New Gear Sets

During the highly celebrated Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Ubisoft officially revealed that "Tom Clancy's The Division" will be getting new expansions. After all, these contents have been in the rumor mill for quite some time. The upcoming second DLC is titled "Survival" and will arrive across all gaming platforms. Apart from this, the first content "Underground" will introduce a new set of gear sets.

According to Windows Report, the upcoming "Tom Clancy's The Division" DLC "Survival" will be released in September this year. It will be made available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is worth noting that this will be the second downloadable content for Ubisoft's titular third-person shooter game.

Just recently, too, the studio revealed about the first "Tom Clancy's The Division" expansion pack. It is titled "Underground" and is slated for a June 28 release. It will arrive first on Xbox One, and then, on August 2, it will be unleashed on PlayStation 4 and PC owners.

GameRant reports that a new set of "Tom Clancy's The Division" gear sets (total of 4) will arrive along with the "Underground" DLC. However, as of this writing, only three of them has been revealed. Known YouTuber Arekkz came up with a video to showcase the features of the first three gear sets.

Based on the video, the said "Tom Clancy's The Division" gear sets are not heavily focused on any particular play styles. Instead, each of them interestingly offers new features for players to explore.

The B.L.I.N.D set allows players to gain bonus pulse damage as well as a 100 percent Blind and/or Deaf Resistance. The FireCrest set, on the other hand, is centered on having an incendiary ammunition and a significant increase in carrying capacity.

Lastly, the Frontline "Tom Clancy's The Division" favors players who utilize Ballistic Shield. It increases the health of the said shield as well as its damage resistance. Above all, it allows players to equip a SMG while the shield is being deployed.
