Bigger Storage, Higher Price Tag? iPhone 7 Pricing Leaked

There has not been much confirmation on the upcoming iPhone 7. Whether it is about the specs, design or release date of the item, most aspects have been kept under wraps. One rumor, however, that keeps circulating, is that Apple has finally decided to increase their minimum storage option for the upcoming series.

The storage options for the next Apple product are expected to be 32GB, 64GB and 256GB. While this sounds great for most Apple consumers - storage has remained to be quite an issue - the increase in the same will definitely mean a heftier price tag.

According to Pocketnow, the original increments between storage options could range up to $100. Logically this means that the lowest end of the upcoming product will be a lot more expensive tha the 16GB option that Apple used to offer.

The publication goes on to claim that a Weibo leaker - Weibo being a Chinese microblogging site - claims to have figured out the pricing for the iPhone 7.

For the iPhone 7 Plus' base model, pricing is expected at ¥6088, or around $925. The middle model will be around ¥6888, or $1050. Lastly, the top-end model is expected to be ¥7888, or $1200.

Meanwhile, the base model of the iPhone 7 Pro is expected to price at ¥7088, which is around $1080. The middle unit will be ¥7888, or $1200. The high-end model is expected to reach ¥8888, or a whopping $1350.

As reported by Gotta Be Mobile, another feature of the upcoming iPhone 7 series may include a dual camera system. The display will be 4.7 inches with a 1334 x 750 resolution. It is likely to sport either 2GB of RAM or 3GB of RAM. The iPhone 7 will be powered with an Apple A10 processor M10 Co Processor with a 1754mAh battery. It will run on iOS 10.
