Warner Bros. Entertainment and Eurocom has announced the first Harry Potter game for Kinect, titled “Harry Potter For Kinect” exclusively for Xbox 360.
The new game is expected to hit the store shelves in autumn 2012 and will take the player on a trip throughout all seven books and eight films. Harry, here, will also be accompanied by his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
Players will be using Kinect’s distinctive scanning technology and will be able to scan their own likeness into the game. You will get to create a new witch or wizard that will take you on a journey in and around Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Apart from Kinect’s scanning technology, the motion capture and voice-recognition capabilities will allow you to cast spells with your hands and voice. The game is expected to offer an extraordinary experience for the most dedicated and ardent Harry Potter fans.
Moreover. You will also be able to relive some of the most memorable moments from the entire Harry Potter series. This includes your first trip to Olivanders to the final showdown with ‘He Who Most Not Be Named.’
“Harry Potter For Kinect” will also offer a host of co-operative and competitive mini-games to add to the experience, according to a Gamingbolt report.
