Inversion By Saber Interactive Delayed Until July

The release date for video game developer Saber Interactive’s upcoming project “Inversion” has been further pushed to July as per an announcement made by the company. The upcoming game is set to be published by Namco Bandai Games.

The upcoming gravity-defying third-person-shooter was previously set for a June 8 release in Europe and June 5 release in North America on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and nothing was mentioned about a possible release date on PC.

According to a statement made by Saber Interactive, “The extra development time for Inversion affords the team the opportunity to create an enjoyable and engaging third-person shooter experience with a comprehensive multiplayer component, including extensive competitive and co-operative modes.”

However, this isn’t the first time “Inversion” has been pushed back, having already been delayed in March and Gamingbolt has already contacted Namco Bandai for a comment regarding the delay in release of the game.

“Inversion” takes place in the near future when mankind is invaded by an unforeseen and unknown enemy called the Lutadore. With their futuristic gravity-controlling weapons, the Lutadore easily overrun the city’s defenses, and random regions in the city have entered a zero gravity state or have suffered vector changes with mysterious anomalies that have surfaced in conjunction with the invasion.

You will assume the role of Davis Russel, a hotheaded 28-year-old cop, or Leo Delgado, Davis’ neighbor and go on a journey through the war torn, gravity twisted disorienting streets of their home town and beyond, to find Davis' missing child.
