Windows 8: Dell’s First Tablet With Latest Microsoft OS Leaks

After a disastrous Android tablet experience, Dell is finally coming up with Windows 8 tablets to make an impact in the world tab space. And, some specs details of Dell's unreleased Windows 8 tablets have been leaked, reports Neowin.

According to a leaked document obtained by Neowin, Dell's latest tab, which looks more like Dell Latitude ST, will arrive with a length of 10.8-inch, with 1,366 x 768-pixel resolution and a dual-core Atom processor, 2GB of RAM, Intel graphics, a 128GB solid-state drive, fingerprint reader, an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Dell tablet will also feature a removable battery that will come in two sizes. While a smaller battery will provide six to eight hours of life, the larger one will offer 10 to 12 hours of life.

While the Neowin report claims that Dell is planning to release more than one tablet, the leaked version of the tablet is expected to be launched in late Fall/November. No pricing information, however, are reported.

Earlier, an unnamed source informed CNET about a November release of a dozen of Windows 8 tablets based on Intel's Clover Trail processor. This Dell tablet is also one of them.
