The rumors of the upcoming iPhone 7 have been back and forth for months now. However, if new images of the new flagship from Apple are any indication, it seems that earlier rumors were right on the money. This is especially true regarding the camera and the audio jack.
As C|Net reports, the images come from a French tech blog site, NoWhereElse.fr. In the site, two photos are taken, which clearly showcase the missing 3.5mm audio jack and a dual camera.
One of the photos is of the iPhone 7's casing. From the casing, it can be assumed that the dual lens camera slowly rises from the rest of the body into a sort of "bump." As it seems now, the rumors are true. If this trend continues, the dual camera will come with the iPhone 7 Plus/Pro, which is likely to have a 5.5-inch screen. However, the publication claims that the dual camera will not be built in to the standard flagship.
Another photo shows that the audio jack has been removed. Again, Apple seems to have replaced the standard feature with a second grill of speakers instead. This would be the first time that an iPhone will sport stereo speakers.
Fortune adds that the next generation of iPhones will offer more color options as well. More specifically, is the addition of a space black choice. The color is notable much darker than the current space gray and actually matches the color which the Apple Watch is available in. other than space black, Apple is expected to still have space gray, gold and rose gold options.
The publication goes on to say that, other than the aspects mentioned above, the images look very much like the current iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. These only add to the rumors that Apple is making very minor modifications for the iPhone 7.
