Lots of people are enjoying and absolutely loving the "Pokemon Go" mobile game. Needless to say, the game is only made available for fans located in New Zealand, Australia and Japan. However, there is a way to acquire the game on Android devices and it is pretty easy to do.
As reported by University Herald, "Pokemon Go" is now available on both Google Play and the App Store. However, there are still a number of glitches that need to be addressed in both the iOS and Android versions of the game. Even more bad news, the mobile game was not released worldwide.
It should be noted, though, that Niantic has unveiled a "Pokemon Go" support page for people who have downloaded the game. This could mean that the game will be released internationally very soon.
As for Android users who are not located in the aforementioned areas, where "Pokemon Go" is available, there is actually a way to get hold of it. To install the mobile game, follow the steps below:
- Simply head over to its APK mirror and download it.
- In order to install the game, users have to enable "installation of unknown applications from unknown sources" located in the Settings. Once a warning appears, just click OK.
- When the "Pokemon Go" APK download is done, tap it in the Downloads app to start the installation process. Select Install and tap Open once it is done.
CNET advises that once "Pokemon Go" is successfully installed, fans will need to create an account. This can be done through utilizing an existing Google account or by making a new one. After that, players can roam the streets and catch their first ever Pokemon in the real world.
"Pokemon Go" is free of any microtransactions for now. However, for those who are interested in catching a Pokemon without the burden of unlocking their phones, they simply need to avail the $35 optional accessory. This feature allows their devices to vibrate whenever a Pokemon is just nearby.
