Despite all the ups and downs, "Fallout 4" still proved to be a massive hit. Indeed, Bethesda has to be credited for a job well done. Needless to say, the title is expected to receive two expansions. However, fans should keep in mind that "Nuka World" will actually be the last on the line. Yes, the studio has already confirmed that the DLC is going to be the last one ever.
In the past, there were reports about Bethesda planning to release more "Fallout 4" DLCs following "Nuka World." Contrary to what was deemed today, fans will be getting a couple more of expansions in the future.
However, as reported by GameSpot, "Nuka World" is in fact the last content for the "Fallout 4" series. It was confirmed by no other than Pete Hines, the studio's very own marketing executive. The aforementioned expansion is slated for a release sometime in August. After that, fans and gamers alike should not expect more from the devs.
The big reveal happened when a "Fallout 4" fan by the name of Dylan Andes asked Hines via Twitter regarding the title's status quo. He inquired if the aforesaid content is indeed the last or if the company actually plans to do more as the time goes by.
Unfortunately, to the dismay of Andes and lots of fans, Hines replied with two words: "last one." This, in one way or another, confirms that "Nuka World" is indeed the last "Fallout 4" DLC to be released.
Prior the said "Fallout 4" content, "Vault-Tec Workshop" will be unleashed. Primarily, it is an add-on and is expected to go live within the month. The last DLC, on the other hand, is coming in August and is priced at $20.
The last "Fallout 4" content, as stated on the official Bethesda site, is set in a seemingly post-apocalyptic amusement park. It is also believed to introduce new sets of weapons, as well as brand new quests.
