'Dragon Ball Super' Recap & Spoilers: Episode 51 Builds Up For Climatic Battle With Black Goku; Background Stories Of Characters Revealed

Dragon Ball Z just recently aired its 51st episode, one which gave out clues about the real identity of Black Goku. The next episode will tell more about the characters in the saga. To be specific, the upcoming episode will talk mostly of the relationship between Future Trunks and Mai.

Last week, on the latest episode of Dragon Ball Super, it can be recalled how it was revealed that Bulma has been keeping the time machine safe. All the while, she was trying to figure out how to fix it since Black Goku has already destroyed the original one. This is going to be used to send Future Trunks to his own timeline. Goku then tries to convince Beerus and Whis to train him more since he wants to go up against Black Goku again. However, this upsets them since the timeline kept being changed due to the recent turn of events. This has the led Goku to train with King Kai since they rejected his request.

As the episode cuts to the future, it can be seen that Black Goku's body is flashing and it changes to its original outfit which is orange, similar to that of Goku. This has then led the fans to theorize the real identity of Black Goku. According to Attack of the Fanboy, this latest episode of Dragon Ball Super was definitely interesting to the viewers since the backstory of the characters were covered developing them more.

As reported by Yibada, in another scene, Bulma's parents come back and see both Future Trunks and Kid Trunk, both at the same time. Bulma then believes that her father could help her fix the time machine so the timeline doesn't get changed all the more. It can be seen also that Future Trunks tries to flirt with the younger version of Mai, as she blushes very visibly. In this series, Mai's character has become a courageous character as opposed to the previous Dragon Ball series wherein she was placed to be cowardly. Dragon Ball Super has revealed more to the storyline of each of the characters in the show, making it more appealing to the audience.

In next week's Dragon Ball Super episode, Future Trunks finally gets to see the look of the present Gohan.
