NBA Trade Rumors: Rudy Gay Leaving Sacramento Kings, LeBron James Staying with Cleveland Cavaliers?

Rudy Gay of the Sacramento Kings is reportedly being traded. Meanwhile, LeBron James has yet sign up again with the Cleveland Cavaliers, although his agent assured the team owners that he is staying put.

Officialy, Gay is not asking to be traded according to the Bleach Report. However, he reportedly wants to move out and the Kings seem happy to oblige. Based on his performance with them, it is not hard to see why. His average points and boards at every game were at a measly 17 and 6.5 respectively. His stats were much higher when he has with the Memphis or when he was still rookie.

Still, Gay is still valuable enough for other teams to want him. The Kings, however, will demand a suitable trade that will compensate for the loss of this forward.

Meanwhile, it seems LeBron James is currently a free agent. Cleveland Cavalier officials have already tried to talk to James and his agent about renewing the contract. However, the team's star player is curiously silent about the offer.

Marc Stein of ESPN though reported in his Twitter account that James' agent Rich Paul has already given his assurances. Still, that did not stop the other teams from trying to get most famous NBA player today.

Another fellow team member, J.R. Smith, is also out in the market. Team officials insist that he is staying with the team, although he may be receiving a higher salary after contributing to successful wins for the Cavaliers. Smith is also a client of Rich Paul.

Other teams, however, such as the Miami Heat, are reportedly recruiting Smith as one of their guards. On the other hand, Smith has intimated that he is willing to leave his current team for higher pay. His decision to leave the team, however, may depend on James staying with the team or not.
