The smartphone market is a tough one to be in. With such big players already in the mix, it is difficult for smaller companies to make a name for themselves. Yet, they have.
Smartphone manufacturers like ZTE and OnePlus have entered the market and are making their own notable waves. Still, the competition is tough even between relatively smaller players. Now, ZTE has a new flagship coming out, which is set to rock the sales of the OnePlus 3
The unit from ZTE will be called the Axon 7, as The Verge reports. It will be all metal and is already available via a number of online retailers for $400.00. The design of the unit is much better than its predecessors.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and runs on 4GB of RAM. The display has a 5.5 inch 2K screen resolution and an AMOLED touch screen. It has a 20-megapixel rear camera and two sim card slots. Reportedly, the ZTE Axon 7 will be also be capable of virtual reality, via Google's Daydream mobile, come fall.
The specs of the unit are can rough it up with the best in the market, but for a much cheaper price. It will definitely be interesting to see how it holds up in the next few weeks.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 3 is relatively established at this point. According to GizMag, the OnePlus 3 is not exactly a looker, but it is comfortable to hold. It is also pretty powerful as it is fitted with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and runs on 6GB of RAM.
Even though it has 64GB of internal storage, there are no other options, nor is there the chance to expand via a microSD slot. The battery life is pretty impressive, however, as the OnePlus 3 sports a 3000mAh battery.
