With Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) almost knocking the door, Apple, on Tuesday, released its schedule as well as an official app for the audience.
The main event, which will kick off on July 11, will begin with the opening keynote at 10 a.m. Pacific. The CEO of the Cupertino-based tech giant, Tim Cook, is expected to take the center stage in the opening day.
Meanwhile, the company has also released an official app for the event. While the app can be downloaded by all from iTunes, only WWDC attendees can access the content that includes the schedule of the event, all news related to the event, venue maps and picture gallery.
This year's WWDC event passes got sold in less than two hours after going live. While the sellout took almost a week in 2010, it took only 11 hours last year. But this year's quick sellout broke all the previous years' records.
Although Apple has increased the price of the tickets from last two year's $1,599 to $1,699 and has imposed restrictions of ticket sales to registered iOS and Mac developers and limitation on the number of passes available per developer group, the enthusiasm of the Apple lovers seems unaffected.
After introducing App Store in 2008, popularity of Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference has increased to some great extent.
Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2012 will be held at the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco from June 11 to 15.
