Developer ArenaNet and Publisher NCsoft have announced that the second public Beta Weekend Event for “Guild Wars 2” is arriving on Friday, June 8 from 21:00 CEST (20:00 BST), and will be available until Monday, June 11, 08.59 CEST (07.59 BST).
This will be another chance for the hundreds and thousands of you Guild Wars fans out there, who have pre-purchased “Guild Wars 2,” to explore the world of Tyria once again.
According to Chris Whiteside, ArenaNet’s Lead Producer, via the ArenaNet blog, “Your existing beta characters have not been deleted, and you will be able to continue right where you left off! This means that enterprising players with characters level 35 or higher will be able to test their mettle against the explorable version of the Ascalonian Catacombs dungeon!”
Note, it is important to pre-purchase the “Guild Wars 2” Collector’s, Digital Deluxe, or Standard/Digital Editions in order to guarantee access to all Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Events. Moreover, apart from the Beta Weekend Events, players will also receive a three-day Headstart Access prior to launch and the exclusive Hero’s Band in-game item.
Eligible players should then look for an email from NCsoft with additional information on how to download the client and additional account registration information. Pre-purchase is now available at buy.guildwars2.com. It can also be purchased from selected retailers.
