iPhone 7 Pro News: Is It Worth Buying? Specs & Features

Photos and videos of the upcoming iPhone 7 from Apple have been parading around the internet for a while now. However another update to that has just arrived, that shows three Apple handhelds side by side. It would then seem that the rumors are true and the next line from Apple will come in three different variants - the standard, the Plus and the Pro.

According to Apple Insider, the photos were again leaked by Chinese site Weibo. From the face of the units, there seems to be no physical difference between the iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 7 pro as the two units are uniformly larger than the standard iPhone 7. However, a look at the back of the devices shows that the Pro is the only unit has a dual camera and has a Smart Connector.

But is the dual lens such an improvement on the current trend? To put it simply, yes. The iPhone Pro is sure to cost much more than its Plus counterpart - and for good reason.

As Tech Crunch puts it, the dual camera can heighten the level of photos tremendously. In fact, it can develop the defocus of photo backgrounds and even restructure layering in the photo. Background defocus is very popular in photography and the result is usually captured by low aperture DLSR lenses.

The dual camera feature will also enhance the color, low-light performance and High Dynamic Range performance. Further, it will also allow users to focus on the foreground, with a blurred effect to the background, without any further editing.

On the other hand, the Smart Connector allows a wider range of accessories to connect to the device. This feature originated on Apple's iPad Pro, as a means to connect to a keyboard. But for the iPhone 7 Pro, it might be used as a connector for an extra battery case.

Three photos have been leaked, each showing the elevated camera that has become synonymous with the iPhone 7 line, with the iPhone 7 Pro being the biggest and best of them all.
