Jill Duggar and her husband, Derrick Dillard have confirmed that they will be returning to the United States and continue filming for "Jill and Jess: Counting On". However, they have said that their stay in the country will only be temporary.
After Jill and her husband Derrick confirmed that they will be coming back to the US, people were quick to assume that they will be returning permanently to their family's hometown in Arkansas. However, they will only be staying only until the Fall.
The couple recently got back from Central America to do some missionary work, according to Vine Report. Jill and Derrick will be arriving in the US on August and planning to take some Bible classes during their short stay. They are expected to shoot scenes for the second season of "Jill and Jess: Counting On" as the spin-off for "19 Kids and Counting" was recently renewed for season two.
Jill expressed her excitement on their return in a blog post saying that she can't wait to see her family again after being away for almost a year. The reality show couple have assured fans that they plan to continue their ministry work in Central America, while in the United States.
They will be filming along with their only son, Israel. Jill and her family will be filming in El Salvador for the second season. This season will allegedly focus on the couple trying to convert the people in El Salvador, who are 76 percent Roman Catholic, to Christianity according to Design and Trend.
There have also been reports claiming that one of the reasons they returned to the US after being in Central America for nine months was that Derrick had health issues. This was based on an Instagram photo that Jill posted last July 5, which depicted her really sick husband. Fortunately, there followed a new photo 2 weeks later where Derrick looked better and not so sickly anymore.
