Nintendo has announced last week the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Classic Edition and now the company has released a video trailer to introduce the gaming platform.
Nintendo's announcement of the NES Classic Edition gaming console has been rather surprising for consumers and tech analysts. According to iDigitalTimes, this move from the Japanese company comes to take advantage of the nostalgia felt by some gaming enthusiasts for old game tiles and continue the company's walk down the memory lane.
The NES Classic Edition gaming console might be a perfect solution for gamers who wish to enjoy playing some classic video games. The mini edition NES console will be released by Nintendo on Nov. 11. The gaming console will come with 30 pre-installed classic NES games.
The NES Classic console will include an AC adapter, an HDMI cable and a controller modeled after the original NES controllers. The NES mini will come with just one controller, but gamers can purchase a second one for just $9.99.
When the system is connected to a Wii Remote controller, the NES mini will allow users to access the Virtual Console NES games on a Wii or Wii U. A Classic Controller Pro or a Classic Controller can be used as well.
In the first video trailer for the NES Classic Edition, the Japanese company presents the upcoming gaming console. The new trailer is showcasing plenty of old school nostalgia. The Nintendo Entertainment System Classic Edition is a new iteration of the classic 8-bit console that will be launching later this year.
According to the website wccftech.com, among the games included in the pre-installed pack that comes with the new Nintendo Entertainment System Classic Edition are some all time classics such as The Legend of Zelda, Dr. Mario, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.2 and Super Mario Bros.3, Metroid, Pac-Man, Double Dragon 2: The Revenge, Donkey Kong, Bubble Bobble, Balloon Fight and many others.
