Episode 468 for "Naruto Shippuden" will be back on air today, July 21. Fans of the show should be expecting a proper ending for Ashura and Indra. Their story has been one of the show's most entertaining filler storyline.
According to Ecumenical News, the previous episode of "Naruto Shippuden" that was entitled "Ashura's Decision," it showed Ashura encountering a plagued village that was caused by the sap of the Divine Tree. There have been reports claiming that episode 468 will open with Ashura being named as Hagoromo's successor. He has been chosen by the Sage of Six Paths because he was able to inspire others to work together, instead of claiming all the glory to himself, unlike his brother.
Ingra on the other hand murdered his two closest friends in effect to his father's announcement that Ashura will be his successor, as reported by Anime News Network. His murderous act has then led to his Sharingan to evolve that has caused an attack on the village. However, despite this, he is still no match to his brother, Ashura, who was able to awaken his Six Paths Chakra.
The conflict between Ashura and Indra has led to the present events of their father, Hagoromo, to informing Kage to do anything that they could to save Naruto and Sasuke. The story of Ashura and Indra does only serve as filler episodes to the series, providing insight into the skills being practiced in the world of Naruto.
