Last Sunday at Comic-Con, a new trailer for the fourth season of "Sherlock" was released. The trailer gave people the impression that something terrible is going to happen in the upcoming season and that everything is getting to get super serious.
The trailer for the fourth season of "Sherlock" has made the series look more action-packed compared to the previous three seasons. During the panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays the protagonist in the show, said that the upcoming season will be a real emotional roller coaster, according to Thrillist.
One of the producers of "Sherlock," Abbington said that season four will be the darkest season of the show. This was proved during the trailer when a scene depicting Sherlock himself was shown as he gasped and said "Something's coming. Maybe it's Moriarty. Maybe it's not." This hinted to the viewers of a huge possibility that Moriarty might appear in the show.
During the panel at Comic-Con, the audience also asked about an upcoming fifth season for the show. One of the creators, Gatiss, jokingly said that there won't be a fifth season for "Sherlock," but there will definitely be a sixth. This was definitely a major revelation for the British mystery series.
Towards the end of the panel interview, they were also able to give out a very big clue that will fill the voids of the fans of "Sherlock" that are waiting for season four, at least for now. According to Deadline, the moderator of the panel who was Chris Hardwick asked the panelists to provide three keywords about season four. The producer then opted to give out three names instead as clues: Thatcher, Smith and Sherrinford.
Avid fans of the show will definitely look into the clues given out by the producers to have an idea of what is in store for the fourth season of "Sherlock."
