'Pokemon Go' News Updates: Cheaters Teach GPS Spoofing Via Twitch And Video Tutorials

"Pokemon Go" cheaters have become more brazen with each passing day. Some have even shown off their expertise in Twitch and online video tutorials.

Twitch is a popular game streaming site. One of its users, however, identified as Lord_Cloudy recently posted a video himself how he GPS spoofed the "Pokemon Go" game app, according to News. The video actually documents his twin violation of Niantic and Twitch's rules.

Players using GPS spoofing can trick the "Pokemon Go" server that they are in one location even if they are not physically there. This enables them to catch Pokemon in any place they want. Cheaters no longer need to walk in order to hatch a Pokemon egg. Instead, they use the keyboard to do the walking for them.

"Pokemon Go" Cheaters like Lord_Cloudy did put a disclaimer on the video he uploaded. He claimed that the account he used for cheating is not his primary one and that does not it use in battle gyms.

Another Twitch user has even uploaded a video guide in using GPS spoofing. Interested would-be cheaters may have pay to him through to see the video. The uploader known as Jagrawr said that there plausible reasons for players to use the GPS spoofing in playing "Pokemon Go." Jagrawr also claims that he plays "Pokemon Go" normally when he uses his personal smartphone.

The openness of "Pokemon Go" cheaters in showing their exploits has riled up many of the honest players of the game. A number of "Pokemon Go" trainers have banded together and posted messages on Reddit urging Niantic and Twitch to take action against the cheaters.

One Reddit user complained that one of the "Pokemon Go" cheaters is charging interested players $25 for teaching them his cheating methods.

So far, Niantic Labs and Twitch have yet to announce if they are taking any kind of actions against the Pokemon Go cheaters.
