War Of The Roses: New E3 2012 Trailer Is Here

Stockholm, Sweden-based video game developer Fatshark’s upcoming action game “War of the Roses” has received a new E3 2012 gameplay trailer.

The new game is set during the Wars of the Roses which ravaged England in the 15th century. “War of the Roses” is a ruthless and resolute multiplayer game, coming to PC, which will take the players to an epic medieval battle this fall.

The game is set to feature over 60 different weapons to choose from, tiered skill trees within an enabled leveling system, team-based tactical challenges as well as deathmatches. Now the game has released its very first E3 gameplay trailer.

“In addition to a healthy dose of skirmish on horseback, the new trailer and screenshots show off some of the variety available for players to customize their own knights,” says the game’s official press release. “Swordsmen, archers, and combatants of all description will have a chance to express themselves through a large combination of appearance options, all before entering battle against other brave champions, both equestrian and footed, as they aim to raise their swords up high in victory. That is, of course, if they don’t join a largely homogenous pile of crimson-soaked corpses first.”

“War of the Roses” puts the player in control of a single, customizable soldier fighting for either the House of Lancaster or the House of York. The game plays in a third-person viewpoint and contains both single player and multiplayer modes; multiplayer being the main feature.

The game is set to arrive in the second or the third quarter of 2012.
