The Nintendo NX was announced over a year ago, but its features, specs and design have only been speculated at. The most recent addition in the rumor mill is that the console might have the Backwards Compatibility feature on hand. And for players that have kept up to date, this is definitely a good thing to learn.
According to Express UK, it is all but confirmed that the Nintendo NX will be powered by a NVIDIA Tegra mobile processor. Further, it can act as both a portable and an in-house gaming console. The controllers, while they are likely to rest on the sides of the device, will also be detachable. And the entire console can be placed on a docking station for a more stay-in experience. Further, the games will cross both aspects of the hybrid. What this means
Another rumor is that the Nintendo NX will bring back gaming cartridges. While they are not likely to be as large and bulky as the originals, it will definitely satisfy that nostalgia fix. The downside is that the cartridges will make it more difficult for the Backwards Compatibility feature to be available.
The truth is, that the gaming unit will probably not include Backwards Compatibility in the Nintendo NX.
Nevertheless, there are other exciting aspects to it. As Trusted Review shares, it is almost as if the Nintendo NX is the pinnacle of Nintendo's 30 years in the industry. Not only is the company creating a hybrid innovation, but will also be the most powerful console from Nintendo. It will also run on an entirely new operating system. And, it will supposedly cost less than the general public believes it to be.
One this is for sure, and that is that Nintendo is sure to get some jaws dropping with the Nintendo NX.
