Apple Watch 2 Gets Longer Lasting Battery Upgrade; Wearable To Launch With iPhone 7

While the Apple Watch is one of the most sought wearable in tech industry, there is one constant complaint about it. Just like most other Apple devices, the Apple Watch's battery life can be worked on tremendously.

Fortunately, Apple is answering the same by increasing the battery capacity of the Apple Watch 2. Reportedly, the Cupertino-based company is opting for a One Glass Solution as opposed to a Glass on Glass Solution,as reported by WCCF Tech.

What this means is that there will be one less glass on the display, as it will be replaced by a thinner material. This change will give Apple more space for a larger battery

As Tech Radar explains, a standard touchscreen has two panels of glass, with the tech components resting in between them. Removing one will give Apple plenty of space to enhance the Apple Watch 2. The OGS system also solidly supports previous claims that the upcoming wearable will be 40 percent thinner than the current one on the market.

Of course, the Apple Watch 2 has other tricks under its sleeve. Not only will it come installed with the watchOS 3, but it will also arrive with additional features that are sure to make the Apple experience more worthwhile.

In particular, is the adoption of MicroLED displays within the Apple Watch 2. While this is expected to make the device more price, it does have its fair share of benefits. These include richer colors on the display, faster refresh rates and a thinner size all in all. It also decreased the power consumption of the device.

In addition, the Apple Watch 2 is also expected to come with a GPS system, which will track down the wearer's activity. This will allow users to leave their iPhones at home while exercising.

The focus really does seem to be making the Apple Watch 2 more efficient than its predecessor. As such, most of the changes will be made within the gadget and the aesthetic will roughly remain the same.
