The Sony Xperia line has subtly been floating around the smartphone market. There has been nothing particularly wrong with the series, but there has also been nothing to take them up the ranks. There is one unit, however, that has shone through the rest. That is, the Sony Xperia XA Ultra.
According to GSM Arena, users have relatively been kinder to the Xperia XA Ultra. In fact, a 60 percent majority of those that reviewed the item gave positive feedback. While this is definitely not the best number possible, it is a slant up in comparison to other Sony X flagships. In addition, most of the negative feedback came from the size of the unit.
Reportedly, the 6-inch screen has just proven to be too much for some uses. While Sony did its best to make the unit comfortable to touch and easy to handle, the screen size could just too large to overcome.
To accommodate the 6-inch screen, the entire unit is 164.20 x 79.40 x 8.40 mm all around and weighs 202 grams. In comparison, the iPhone 6S Plus is smaller at 5.5 inches.
Another thing was that the battery life of the Sony Xperia XA Ultra was too short. The 2700mAh battery just did not cut it for an entire day's use on a single charge.
Meanwhile, the camera was well received. Surely this pleases Sony as the Xperia XA Ultra boasts this very feature. According to NDTV Gadgets 360, the rear camera of the unit is an impressive 21.5 megapixels. On the other hand, the front camera was a whopping 16 megapixels. Meanwhile, the display itself had a resolution of 1080 x 1920 megapixels.
Underneath the face of the Xperia XA Ultra is a MediaTek Helio P10 MT 6755 processor. The unit runs on a standard 4GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. Additionally, storage is expandable via a microSD card until 200GB.
