'One Punch Man' Latest Rumors: Season 2 Gets 2016 Release, Saitama Gets New Villian & A Love Triangle

The release date of the second season of "One Punch Man" may still be in the dark, but spoilers and teasers on the storyline are already slowly spreading. There is more to the series than a fan could have expected at the beginning.

There have been reports claiming that season two of "One Punch Man" will be introducing new villains into the picture. However, to balance it out with the increasing number of antagonists, a love interest may blossom with the characters and it could even be a love triangle.

Although it was shown in the first season that Saitama was able to defeat Lord Boros, there are reports claiming that the latter may return. The two may fight again in a rematch, which is promised to be more intense than the first one as reported by Christian Today.

Saitama will allegedly be facing more villains this season; namely Garou, Amai Mask and Lord Boros for the second time. Amai Mask will allegedly be turning into the dark side as he decides to eliminate those who do evil things, according to Movie News Guide. Whereas Garou is appointed to be one of Saitama's villains due to the former's growing bitterness.

As for the reports claiming that there will be a love interest for Saitama in the second season, "One Punch Man" creator hasn't confirmed anything yet. However, fans of the series are anxious about a plot line set in the future, which is reportedly going to be put to reality in the show's second season. To make things more interesting, in addition to the new girl in Saitama's life, reports say he might not be the only one yearning for her affection.

Fans have been waiting for "One Punch Man" season two to air but there has not been any reports on its release date. Speculations of the show airing in October have recently been out in the public, but it was never confirmed.
