Asia's renowned PC makers are all set to showcase iPad-nemesis - Windows 8 tablets and laptop PCs. These devices are going to run a preview version of Windows 8 OS.

Microsoft is all set to display their next generation operating system, Windows 8 at the Computex trade show next week in Taipei. The software giant is hoping to fight back against Apple Inc. with their upcoming next generation operating system release. Some manufacturers like Lenovo and Intel have already displayed their Windows 8 device, IdeaPad Yoga and Cove Point. Other major manufacturers like Asus, Acer and Toshiba are also ready to show off their tablets at this event.

According to Bloomberg's sources, each of these manufacturing companies are going to unveil Windows 8 tablets at Computex. Asus is going to feature a tablet with detachable keyboard just like their Android-based Transformer series. This Taiwan based company managed to grab people's attention with their Transformer series earlier.

Toshiba is also planning to display a similar type of device. It will be a touchscreen laptop that looks like a notebook. As Windows 8 can be used on ARM processors too, manufacturers like Toshiba and Asus are planning to reveal ARM-based tablets as well. Asus is planning to reveal two tablets, one based on Nvidia ARM-based chip which is also known as Tegra, and one based on an Intel chip.

But all these companies denied commenting on their plans before the event planned next week. Other renowned companies like Dell and HP might present their Windows 8 tablets and PCs in this event as well. As Windows 8 is coming in two different ways, Intel processors based and ARM processors based, manufacturers have the option to choose what they like.

Qualcomm, known for their mobile-phone chips, is also going to demonstrate a Windows 8 device based on Snapdragon processor. A person related with these plans confirmed it.

Microsoft is ready to release Windows 8 officially in October. All these next generation Windows operating system based devices will be available for purchase after this official release.
