Far Cry 3: New Official Trailer and Walkthrough Revealed For E3 2012

Developers Ubisoft has released the official trailer as well as the walkthrough of “Far Cry 3” for their E3 conference.

The new trailer deals with the game openness where players will be able to explore the island. Although there is a bit of issue with a host of scripted events and sequences, the video actually shows how exciting and relentless the new game is going to be.

"Far Cry 3" takes place on a tropical island somewhere at the junction of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, and will run on the integrated Dunia Engine that was used for “Far Cry 2” but will use an advanced water tech to provide more depth to the gameplay experience.

According to a previous Official PlayStation Magazine report, “Far Cry 3” was due to release at the end of 2011. A quote suggested that time, "Start taking the malaria medicine in preparation: Far Cry 3 could be arriving before the end of the year."

However, this statement was later withdrawn in the next month's edition and mentioned that the game would be shown at 2011's E3 and that the release date would be delayed to 2012. Nonetheless, the first official trailer for the game was released at the 2011 E3 conference on June 6, 2011.

The game is set to arrive in September this year on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
